![]() ![]() On the subject of gore, I do agree that it seems a little light right now. Originally posted by Bankruptcy:I would just be content with adding the chest dismemberment seen with earlier builds of the game as well as guts slowly oozing out like in P2 when you slice someone in half. the balance for aiming could be that the reload speed would be slightly slower than an average advanced reload user the face scanner could be done in a similar vain to l4d where it goes into a third person perspective showing your character doing the action while the player holds down f or e until a bar fills up. But giving devs grief for not doing it kind of seems unfair. There's probably a way to do it perfectly, but I imagine it's kind of difficult to strike that balance and still have it be just as fun for both types of players. This game that's less of a problem because there's reload timers on button press already as an option, but becomes an issue to consider for stricter PvP games. VR games are balanced around stuff differently, like how recoil works and how reloading works. Does that become a button press and it just happens or is it animated? Stuff to take into consideration.Īlso you risk either catering to VR dragging down the quality or fun of flat or vice versa. How flat players would interact with the environment is also another thing, where this game has stuff you either just optionally can interact with or have to interact with. Unless you want to make a flatscreen game in which you have floating hands in which that's when it gets weird. First person animations would have to be done for flat, as well as creating a first person viewmodel entirely since only the VR hands currently exists. But is out of scope for a lot of studios. Exactly, that's what I was meaning considering there is eating and after eating dialogue, im going to say that npcs in restaurants probably will be eating food That amount of course is depending on the location itself. There are locations that just scream for a certain amount of NPCs. for example when getting threatened or shot at. possibly extra reactions to the players behaviours too. These NPCs would need special animations and maybe some kind of activity routine. and some strolling around in the building. Service should serve food, clean tables, ask for orders and such.Īn office needs office workers sitting infront of the computers. The customers there should be eating/drinking/talking at the table and occasionally visit the toilet. That wouldnt make sense, and im sure the OP didnt mean it that way.īut to make a lively looking world bars and restaurants, for example, need customers and service craft.Īnd the NPCs there should also look and act as such.
